Should I worry about the equipment the videographer uses?
You should not need to worry about the equipment--that’s the videographer’s job.
A professional strives to have the right equipment for the job.
We are passionate about wedding videos.
We may have been planning your wedding video as long as you have been planning your wedding.
Before we met you, we were planning ways to capture the memories of your wedding.
What do you mean by “love story”?
Isn’t the whole wedding a love story?
Yes, your wedding is one of the most memorable milestones in your love story,
and we will capture the memories for you to treasure as you move into new chapters.
But the term “love story” describes a certain type of production.
A production that tells the story of how you met, the courtship, the proposal,
and all of the other twists and turns of the romance that brought you to the alter.
It is uniquely yours.
It will feature you sharing your precious memories.
It will include shots of you enjoying your favorite things together.
It will be set to music--those songs that orchestrate your lives together.
Will you be poking microphones and bright lights in everyone’s face?
Our goal is to capture the moments without getting in the way.
Many of our clients remark that they don’t know where we got
all the shots we used--they never noticed us at the wedding!
How much should we spend on a wedding video?
Every wedding--and every budget--is different.
For a simple production, we recommend spending about as much as you expect to spend
on a professional still photographer.
You may spend more if you want an elaborate production with many extras,
fully covering the beginning of the preparations through the end of the reception.
Should we use video instead of still photography?
We recommend both. Many couples like to keep an album of stills on their coffee table.
They like to frame some of them.
Video is a different medium that complements still photography.
In the hands of a talented professional still photographer,
you will get artistic images that beautifully capture individual moments.
Video captures the whole event:
the walk down the aisle;
the emotion in your voices when you recite your vows;
the heartfelt toasts;
the dancing;
the music. The list goes on...
Studies show that people who didn’t use video wish they had;
people who used professional videographers are glad they did.
They watch their wedding videos more than they expected to--and
more than they look at their still photographs.
Do yourself a favor; give yourself a gift that you will treasure forever:
get the most creative, talented professionals you can find to capture your wedding in stills and video.
Do you have a standard package?
Your production will be as unique as your wedding.
Most weddings have some similarities, such as the walk down the aisle, the vows, the ring, the kiss.
And yet, no two weddings are alike.
We capture the character that makes your wedding special.
We don’t force any wedding to fit into a fixed model.
One of the great joys of producing wedding videos is that every project is a chance to meet new people
and find out what they want.
The church will not allow a camera person on the alter,
can we still get good pictures?
We have special ways to deal with every situation.
Let us meet with the clergy and discuss their concerns.
We can find a way of preserving your wedding without interfering.
What can we do if the church does not allow the service to be photographed?
There are many parts to your wedding day you will want to remember.
Even if we cannot include the ceremony itself, we can capture many memories from your wedding day.
The preparations; the reception; a love story; interviews with the guests...
What formats do you offer?
Your production can be delivered on DVD or VHS tape.
The DVD will include menus and chapter points, so you can jump right to the section you want to see.
The DVD will be labeled with custom artwork taken from your wedding.
Another web site advertises prices slightly lower than yours.
This is your wedding day. Don’t sell yourself short.
Of course price matters--we know how expensive a wedding can be.
So use the advertised prices to select a videographer in your price range.
However, there is more than price.
Select a videographer you can trust; a videographer who wants to work with you;
a videographer you want to invite to your wedding.
You won’t really know the price until you have discussed your plans with the videographer.
If a web site advertises exact prices, be sure they are flexible enough to handle your wedding.
A one-size-fits-all “package” deal may not be what you want.
In a perfect world, you get what you pay for.
We try to give you more than you pay for.
We really love producing wedding videos and we want you to be happy.
